Effective advertising?

 

This subway ad is supposed to promote an English-learning course, but the only thing it tells ME is that the course is fucking useless, since that answer in English doesn't even make sense.

Then again, people who are looking to take English courses wouldn't know the difference anyway.

I suppose that's what the ad agency figured too. "Meh, why bother getting this looked at? Our target audience doesn't know any better. Send it off to the printers! Chop chop!"
